How To Use Guest Users Roles In Task Pigeon
Team Admins can set a users permissions to that of a Guest User. This restricts that users ability to only see & comment on tasks that they are assigned to.
Select A Users Permissions
To set up a guest user in Task Pigeon a Team Administrator can navigate to the Team Directory under the Admin settings section. From there they can set users to be "Managers", "General Users", or "Guest Users"
Guest Users Can View & Comment
When a user is provided with Guest User access they can view tasks that have been assigned to them and also collaborate with other users via comments.
Guest Users Permissions Suit Agency/Client Relationships
One common use case for Guest User permissions is in a Agency/Client relationship setting. Using Guest Users would allow you to restrict clients ability to only view their own projects/tasks you are working on for them.
Alternatively, you could look to use our Private Category or Private Task feature to achieve a similar outcome.
